Assign Access to Sigma Workspaces

To ensure that Validio can discover the datasets that you need to monitor, you need to grant the Validio API user access to all the relevant Sigma workspaces. For more information, refer to Folder and Document Permissions and Share a Folder in Sigma documentation.

To assign users to workspaces in Sigma,

1. Navigate to your Sigma Administration page > Workspaces > All workspaces.
2. Find the workspace you want to monitor. and select the dotted menu.
3. Click the dotted menu, and select Share...
4. Search for the user to grant that Person or team with access
5. Under Permission, assign the user a Can viewor Can explore.
6. Repeat for any workspace containing datasets that you want to monitor.
