Configuring Segmentation

Use the Segmentation configuration wizard to create Segmentation on one or more fields in your Source.

Note

Validio displays only the Segmentations with non-Null values. Fields that include a Null value will not be shown.

To configure Segmentation,

1. Navigate to the Segmentations tab on the Source you want to configure a Segmentation for.
2. Click + New segmentation.
3. Select the fields from the detected or inferred schema that you want to add to your Segmentation.
4. Use the Validator configuration wizard to create Validators with your configured Segmentation.

Note

When you apply filters for segmentations, the filter will be true on all validators that use the same segmentation.
