Using Validio

An overview of the Validio user experience — how resource links, saved views, deep links, and collaboration features make monitoring data intuitive.

The Validio interface is designed to make monitoring data quality both intuitive to navigate on your own and easy to collaborate on as a team. This section introduces the everyday user experience — the patterns you will use on almost every page, regardless of which sources or validators you work with.

Wherever you are in the product, the same ideas apply: get a high-level picture, drill into the details by following links, tailor each page to what you need, and share exactly what you see with your teammates.

Get the Big Picture

The Overview dashboard summarizes data quality, incident resolution, and recent activity across all your monitored sources, with filters that let you focus on what needs attention.

Navigate by Following Links

Every related entity in Validio is a resource link — a consistent, clickable icon and name — so you can move from a source to its validators, to their incidents, to upstream lineage without losing your place.

Tailor and Return to Views

Search, filter, and sort any list page, then save that setup as a reusable view for yourself or your whole team. Deep links capture the exact page and state in a URL you can share.

Collaborate and Keep a Record

Comments, ownership, tags, and descriptions give your team a shared context around every resource. See Collaborating in Validio for the full picture, and the activity log for an audit trail of who did what and when.
