Platform Configuration
In the sidebar navigation, you can find configuration pages for your Validio platform: Account, Workspace, and System.
Account
Your Account page shows your profile information, including the list of namespaces you have access to and your permissions in those namespaces.
You can use this page to update your name and contact information and change your password.
Password Requirements
Your account password must have a minimum length of 10 characters and meet the following criteria:
- Include at least one uppercase character
- Include at least one lowercase character
- Include at least one number
- Include at least one special character
- Does not include more than 2 equal consecutive characters
- Does not include your username, common password key words (such as password), or words related to your company (such as company name)
Workspace
Your Workspace in Validio is where you can manage the global Settings, Namespaces, Teams, Users, Tags, and API settings for the platform.
Global Admins and Workspace ManagementYou can only edit Workspace settings if you have the Global: Admin permissions. For more information, see About Validio RBAC.

Workspace Tab | Description |
---|---|
Settings | Management options for your Validio environment, including the Application URL and default user settings. You must be an Admin to update these settings. |
Namespaces | Manage the namespaces, which control access to the resources across your Validio environment. |
Teams | Create teams to manage groups of users and their access to resources in Validio. |
Users | Manage individual users and their roles and access to resources in Validio. You can also add identity providers to manage user login and authentication in this tab. |
Tags | Create tags to organize or categorize your resources across your Validio environment. |
API | Create and manage API keys. |
System
The System page displays the name of the different Validio services running on the platform, their version number, and current status.
The service status will either be green or yellow:
- Green– The service is running as normal.
- Yellow– The service is unavailable.
