# Export glossary terms

> Export your [Business Glossary](/v10.2/docs/catalog/business-glossary) term definitions, one row per term.

Requires the `GLOSSARY_READ` permission.

These are the same headers the glossary CSV importer reads, so you can edit an exported file and upload it back.

This endpoint does not accept `filter` or `sort`.

| Column | Description |
| :--- | :--- |
| `id` | Glossary term identifier. |
| `name` | Term name. |
| `description` | Free-text definition of the term. |
| `aliases` | Alternative names, comma-separated within the cell. |
| `domain` | Name of the domain the term belongs to, if set. |
| `owner` | Email of the term owner, or the user ID for owners without an email. |
