# Changelog 10.0

> Validio 10.0 introduces improved seasonality tracking, lineage support for SAP IQ, and API updates.

## SAP IQ: Data lineage support

SAP IQ now supports data lineage. Because SAP IQ stores query logs as disk files rather than exposing them through database interfaces, Validio derives lineage by reading query log files from the S3-compatible object storage that SAP IQ writes them to.

To enable this feature, toggle **Configure query log storage** on your SAP IQ credential and grant read access to the object storage. Validio then populates SAP IQ assets and their relationships on the **Catalog** and **Lineage** pages.

## Smart seasonality tracking for subdaily windows

Validators on subdaily windows now estimate day-of-week patterns automatically. Once enough historical data accumulates, Validio transitions to models for longer seasonalities, which produces tighter bounds and fewer false positives for subdaily metrics with weekly variation. The updated change point detection algorithm recognizes weekly recurrence, so it adapts faster to recurring weekly anomalies.

## Microsoft Foundry: LLM credential support

Validio now supports Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry) as an LLM provider. Add a Microsoft Foundry credential to run Validio's AI features — validator recommendations, and SQL generation in custom SQL validators and SQL filters — against models hosted on your own Azure resource, including OpenAI GPT and Anthropic Claude deployments.

* Improved dynamic threshold behavior after a reverting level shift, so bounds and deviations better reflect the recovered level (AL-742, AL-744)
* Reduced Snowflake compute cost for scheduled polls by checking table metadata for new writes before running a cursor query (VR-5787)

* Dynamic thresholds no longer flag insignificant deviations on effectively constant series around zero (AL-739)
